Bubbly, intelligent journalist and television presenter Tamara Bennett has carved a niche for herself reporting from major sporting events and music festivals around the world for ITV 1's Westcountry region. She is three times winner of the title “European Freestyle Dance Champion” along with twenty other championship titles gained since 1995 and regularly attends events as a dance expert.

Tamara is currently working as a journalist for FEVA magazine and has recently presented for a Japanese Music programme. She has also just filmed a promotional video for Teenage Cancer Trust and The Sickle Cell Society music event "Best of British" which involved interviewing some of Britain's newest up and coming music stars. As well as presenting a promotional trailer for Reading University for the student website UC.TV. Tamara was the presenter of “Daze of Summer” at Beachbombing, Move and Sonar Music Festivals as well as being the presenter of “RUSH” and “RUSH II”for ITV1. The “RUSH” series features all the best in adrenaline pumping sports and extreme music entertainment in the UK and Europe including the Leeds Music Festival and the Quicksilver World Surfing Championships. Tamara writes interviews and reports on the major players and participates in a variety of sports from snowboarding to paint balling. Other presenting work includes fronting an advert for Fox Kids and appearing in the live broadcast of CBBC’s “Big Bash” for Hype television.

Tamara has been the music and fashion Correspondent for Clash, Twenty4Seven and Vibe magazines writing monthly articles about a wide range of subjects including sports, music and fashion.  In addition, she is also a competent voiceover artist working for Galaxy 102.2 FM and a regular compare at various music festivals across the UK as well as corporate speaking events.

Tamara has attended performing arts classes since she was a toddler and is an experienced singer, dancer and actress, securing lead roles in several theatre productions. She featured as the main character in the music video ‘Each Finger has an Attitude’ by Grand Popo Football Club filmed on location in Los Angeles. Tamara choreographed a promotional trailer for CITV in Birmingham.

Prior to working in front of the camera Tamara gained 4 A Levels and a 2.1 in English Literature and Politics and a post graduate certificate in Fashion and Lifestyle journalism.
