Step Out and Make a Difference
Media Ambitions added another sponsored walk to its repertoire when it produced Step Out and Make A Difference for STEPS on 17th September 2006. STEPS is a conductive education centre based in Leicester. On Sunday 17th September 2006 thousands of people from all across the UK joined Rosemary Conley in a giant sponsored walking event which was supported by Kellogg. The event raised in excess of £25,000 for the charity.
The event was a huge success and Park Officer, Denise Jarvis from Abbey Park said "The event was very professional and ran very smoothly. Well done and congratulations".
STEPS founder Heather Crate says “The walk went very well with everybody enjoying themselves so much that our parents and children have requested another one next year! Our sincere thanks go to Media Ambitions who did a magnificent job in organising and promoting the event, making it a successful, trouble free and most enjoyable day which gave us a huge financial boost towards our target to purchase St Botolph’s Old School. Our target has now been reached.”
Media Ambitions is now working on Step Out and Make a Difference 2007 which takes place on Sunday 16th September 2007.
