Lynn’s Bowel Cancer Campaign
Bikers Against Bowel Cancer was an event created to raise awareness for the faster diagnosis of bowel cancer. A team of motorcycle enthusiasts rode from John O’Groats to Lands End between 23rd and 25th June 2006 in a bid to raise much needed funds and awareness for a Bowel Cancer Faster diagnosis week. Media Ambitions was responsible for producing the event and co-ordinating all logistics for the charity.
TV Presenter and Founder of Lynn’s Bowel Cancer Campaign, Lynn Faulds Wood says “The Highlight of the week was an 850 mile 4-day motorbike ride from John O'Groats to Lands End with Media Ambitions organising the PR, accommodation, meals, fuel - everything - with an extraordinary cheerfulness and attention to detail. The charity was contacted by several people who said the awareness campaign helped to save their lives and we were delighted with the way Media Ambitions handled the event”.
