A Night On The Tiles

A Priest spent 10 nights from 29th June until 29th July 2006 living like a homeless person on his church roof in Camden Town, London in a desperate bid to raise £100,000 to save the building from closure. Media Ambitions was responsible for putting on the event and health and safety was top priority. Fr. Malcolm was joined on the roof by up to 6 people each night so the scaffolding, harnesses and lighting arrangements all had to be 100% accurate. The event attracted huge world-wide media interest so the stunt was under great scrutiny.

Fr Malcolm Hunter says “There are sometimes when you realise that things are just too big for you. We realised 'A Night on the Tiles' was a venture we needed to do - we just did not have the time or the skills to do it. We quite simply handed it across to Liz and Vicki to carry out and deliver whilst retaining control with regular meetings. We are extremely grateful for all the dedication, understanding, advice and competence which not only raised the funds we were desperate for, but raised the message across London, this country and the world with their expert handling of the media. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them and a deeply thankful for all they did for us and maybe it speaks volumes that we still now retain contact with each other as friends!”
