Experienced singer, actress and dancer, Carol Harvey-Barnes has most recently finished touring the UK with Michael Buble as a backing vocalist on his “Call Me Irresponsible” tour. 

Other recent professional singing engagements include “To Broadway and Back”, “The Motown Show”, “The Dictionary of Soul Show”, “From Porter to Gershwin”, all musical theatre and revue shows for theatres and corporate events. Other work has included,Carmina Burana”,African Sanctus” and RJC Dance Company, “Shared Testament”. Carol recently launched her one woman show,Reflections” based on the music of Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughan, Lena Horne and Diana Ross at the City Literary Institute, London.

During her impressive career Carol has also appeared in numerous radio commercials and acting roles such as playing the golden fairy in “Dick Whittington” and in university productions such as  “Volpone”, “Richard II”, “A Dolls House” and “Memory of Water”.  

Carol is a regular voice on radio stations across the country including most recently on “The Bear”, “Radio WM”, “Buzz FM” and “Choice 102.2”.

When not singing, dancing or acting Carol runs her own highly successful “Carol Harvey-Barnes School of Performing Arts”. As an accomplished producer/director she has directed numerous musical theatre productions including “Chorus Line”, “West Side Story”, “Fame”, “Wizard of Oz”, “Body Electric”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, “The Wiz” and, “Grease”. Many of Carol’s pupils have also performed professionally for ITV 1, Westcountry, in shows such as “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, “Whistle Down the Wind”, “Doctors” and “CBBC” including various commercials including radio and television.

Carol is a trained dancer and has choreographed numerous performers including “Pump Boys and Dinettes”, “In the Midnight Hour”,”Dick Whittington” and    “Cinderella”, alongside various corporate events including hair and fashion shows and the “Birmingham Bullets Cheerleading Squad”  

Carol has gained an MA in Drama and Theatre Education, BA in Drama and American Studies, Diploma at the London School of Musical Theatre.  She is a member of the Actors Centre in London as well as being an examiner at Trinity Guildhall. London and UKA Dance and Theatre Arts as well as co-writing the organisations Song and Dance Syllabus. Carol trained extensively for a number of years with the world renowned vocal teacher, the late Mr Ian Adam.
